A common multiple is something that two same numbers of different multiples have together, e.g Multiples of 3 and 4 are: 12.
A least common multiple (LCM) is like a common multiple but it has to be the lowest number e.g Least Common Multiple (LCM) of 9 and 12: 36. The LCM of 6 and 8: 24, because you half the 6 into 3 and that’s 24 with the 8 multiplying the 3.
